Toxicity: Mild; generally well tolerated short-term; mild GI complaints, headache. Long-term safety not well characterized.
Contraindications: Pregnancy/lactation (insufficient data); should NOT replace prescribed cardiac therapy. Caution with hypotension/bradycardia and thyroid disease (mild thyroid effects reported).
