Toxicity: Low-moderate. Sesquiterpene lactones cause contact/allergic dermatitis (Asteraceae); GI irritation possible at high dose.

Contraindications: Asteraceae allergy; pregnancy data insufficient (avoid medicinal doses).

Interactions: Not well documented; theoretical additive anti-inflammatory effects.
